Why Coffee Chats Matter

While OTC's events create excitement and its programs drive economic activity, Coffee Chats create something different and equally essential: trust. In a casual setting — over coffee, at a local shop, among neighbors — people share what they actually think, what they actually need, and what Old Town actually means to them.

These conversations inform every major OTC decision. They're where ideas are born, concerns are heard, and the community's authentic voice shapes the direction of the organization. No formal agenda, no pressure — just open dialogue.

The Rotating Venue Model: By moving Coffee Chats to different Old Town coffee shops each month, OTC actively supports local businesses, gives attendees a chance to discover new spots, and prevents the gathering from feeling like a "formal meeting" at a fixed office.
