Old Town Cornelius Inc. (OTC)
A nonprofit community-activation and economic-development engine for Downtown Cornelius — strengthening the vitality, identity, and experience of Old Town through a self-reinforcing ecosystem.
OTC operates through four interconnected layers: Ignition (high-energy flagship events), Alignment (business collective), Engagement (community programs), and Infrastructure (HQ, shuttle, digital ecosystem).
The OTC Four-Layer System
Every OTC program fits within one of four strategic layers that reinforce each other to create a living downtown ecosystem.
High-energy flagship moments that put Old Town on the map — Tawba Walk, 2nd Saturdays, special activations.
The Business Collective unites local businesses with shared energy, joint promotions, and peer-to-peer support.
OTC Coffee Chats and community programs that build relationships and capture real-time feedback from residents.
OTEC HQ, Community Shuttle, Social District Cup, and the digital strategy provide the operational backbone.
